This rule applies to level IIIs and IVs.
Guidance
Currently, NARR does not define how many hours of formal activities or service in which residents must participate. Level Is and IIs may have activities that require resident participation (e.g. house meetings), but many are cautious around formalizing these activities to the point where they become programatic services.

Are residents and staff required to engage in formal activities?
