Community gatherings, recreational events and/or other social activities occur periodically.

This rule applies to all levels.

Guidance

Most recovery residences find that social activities are better attended when residents or resident leadership plan, contribute or host these events. They can range from fielding a sober softball team, to an annual alumni event, to a hiking trip. They may even change over time as new residents move in with their own interests.
