This rule does not apply to level Is, because they do not have direct support staff.

Guidance

Residents are often hyper aware of staff behavior and look to them as role models. Staff must understand that part of their role is to reflect recovery, which this rule expresses as genuineness, empathy, respect, support and unconditional positive regard. Recovery residence providers may prefer to use similar language and/or add to this language.
