Guidance
Too often senior residents and/or direct support staff are placed in key roles with little formal support. It is important the staff, especially those in direct support roles, receive guidance and support regarding their skills development. This includes recognizing milestones and success. In level IIIs and IVs this would typically be conducted by their Supervisor. In level IIs, it may be conducted by the owner / operator. Regardless, this is key to support the performance of staff and in turn the recovery residence.
