Rule
A policy and practice that provider has a code of ethics that is aligned with the NARR code of ethics. There is evidence that this document is read and signed by all those associated with the operation of the recovery residence, to include owners, operators, staff and volunteers.

This standard rule applies to all recovery residence levels of support.
Guidance
Recovery residence providers, staff and leadership are faced with ethical dilemmas on a weekly, if not daily, basis. The Code of Ethics should be used to guide those decisions as well as long-run plans.
