NARR Standard 3.0: 3.I.28. Foster ethical, peer-based mutually supportive relationships among residents and staff
Recovery housing operators are set apart from other helping professions. While appropriate ethical boundaries remain important, it’s acceptable for operators and managers to be more informal in their engagement and support. These relationships enhance the community and social recovery capital of residents and address social model recovery (staff role; authority base). — NARR Standard 3.0 Compendium
