Applies to all recovery residences.
Guidance
NARR does not prescribe a ratio of washers/dryers to residents, but hygiene is important to individual resident health and the health of the household. The washer/dryers do not have to be in the dwelling, but they should be within close proximity. Some recovery residences provide laundry detergent, while others require each resident to purchase their own. There has been some debate around whether a recovery residence can utilize coin operated washers and dryers. NARR Affiliates may develop guidance and/or gain consensus from certified recovery residences in their state.
