The Texas Recovery Oriented Housing Network (TROHN) is a founding state affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR), and as such, TROHN is responsible for:
- Certifying recovery housing in Texas that meet national standards
- Posting a directory of certified recovery housing
- Administering a grievance process
TROHN is staffed and operates under a fiscal agent, RecoveryPeople, which focuses in three service domains: advocacy, workforce development and provider services

The National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) established levels of support, standards and code of ethics for recovery housing.
Standard
TROHN certification uses NARR Standard 3.0, which was developed by recovery housing providers, researchers and stakeholders.
